Monte Vista welcomed brother Buddy Payne in March, 2020, for a series of lessons focused on answering the question, “Is it reasonable to believe in God in this scientific age?”

Buddy received his professional training at Florida College, Florida State University, Harvard University, and the University of South Florida.

As a science and mathematics educator with over 40 years of teaching experience, he’s devoted much time and energy to the study and discussion of intelligent design and evolution. He’s also given numerous lectures on this topic on college campuses and in other settings.

He currently serves as the President of Florida College, but previously taught various college courses in chemistry and mathematics.
